Replacing Heater core in a 1967 GMC Pickup?

Changing the heater core...Could someone tell me the easyest way to change it? Just by looking at it there seems to be an affual lot of work involved.

It is an automatic transmission no A/C 2 wheel Drive 1/2 ton 1967 GMC pickup.

Heater Cores come out one of two ways. 1. From the engine compartment. 2. From the passenger compartment.

Go to the library and borrow a Chilton Repair Manual. You will have step-by-step procedures to do the job.

Another idea is to call the nearest Vocational School Auto program. They may do it for a reasonable price or at least give you the information you need.

this is relatively easy , you want difficult , look at a 80's mustang , the entire dash has to come out. you might have to drop the passenger inner fender to do it , can't remember if the bolts are in the engine compartment or the passenger side , why not get a repair manual for this truck , they are easy to work on.
UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE TO DO IT THE HARD WAY YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE DEFORSTER-HEATER BOX OFF UNDER YOUR DASH ITS A LOT OF WORK BUT YOU CAN DO IT I HAD 62-63-64-CHEVY PU ALL WERE THE SAME WAY
