it is a massive job. You will to remove the airbox from under the dash and alot of other stuff. this is one job where it's really best to let a mechanic do it, imo.
You have to pull the entire dashboard, most likely. GM put the system under the dash starting in 1990 on their 1991 models. As a result, these are a four or five hour job. The best bet is to buy a service manual so you can make a more informed decision.
