I need to change the heater core on my 99 Monte Carlo, I know my way around cars and can rebuild an engine no problem. But I have never replaced a heater core. I need to know what to do or if someone can point me to a web site that would show me what to do. Thanks,

I suggest that you buy a book called: Chilton's. Get it at a local parts store such as Auto Zone or Nappa. Read the section that you need a couple of times so you will understand it and be careful because some books may have minor mistakes. The book is about: $12.00 to $15.00 and covers many applications such as a Brake replacement. Good luck to you.
