It would be easier if you bought manual from the parts store when you bought the heater core.

Autozone lists a heater control valve that's located in line with one of your heater hoses under the hood. So make sure that valve is opening properly to let the hot coolant flow through the heater core.

drain the radiator,take off the heater hoses, if iam not mistaken, you have to drop the heater box, and you will see the heater core. its a job, but it can be done, with the right tools and some patience.
