I have a 96 mercury sabel wagon. is it hard to change the heater core. when you turn on the heat it blows warm air for about 2 to 5 seconds and then turns to cold air. can any one help. thanks

temp valve in the hose is bad, or heater door closing due to vacuum leak or bad vacuum motor.

did you try flushing the cooling sytem first its too much trouble to change the heater core since the dash will have to be lowered
