Almost ALL heater cores are difficult to replace. Not sure about yours, but it's probablybehind the radio or glove compartment. You'll have to remove hoses first, and the newer clamps are attatched with a compression fitting. You have to push on hose while holding pipes from heater core. You'll get a pretty big puddle of coolant on your garage floor....Then comes the HARD part, you may have to remove glove box ,or radio,or at least some of the dash or trim.In short,it's a real pain.A shop will probably do the work for around 150 bucks including rebuilt core.Good luck.
How do change a heater core in a 1995 chevy lumina? and is it very hard to do?
it is very hard to do because it is under the dash and it takes a long time. Check your auto repair manual for directions..
