I'm changing the heater core in a 1994 Ford ranger 4x4. Can someone tell me how to do it & is it hard to do?

Now its been a while, but I believe you go under the dash on the passenger side. There will be some plastic retainers holding the formed kick guard in place, pull those out. When you get down to the plastic area, there should be 4 screws or bolts holding it on, remove those and pull the plastic piece away. Don%26#039;t forget to drain the coolant system first.

Now, under the hood, find the feed and return line from the heater core and remove them from the heater core. The core should now prettry easily pull back and then down out from under the dash. Place new heater core in, re atttach hoses in engine compartment, replace plastic piece under heater core, and put the formed kick guard back on. Now refill the system with coolant and test out your new heater core.|||lamarin is right, check the following web site: http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/090鈥?/a> ...Good Luck...

And it%26#039;s a piece of cake. About an hour if you%26#039;re not in a hurry!!
