1.8 hours to do

漏 2008 ALLDATA LLC.|||i just replaced one in a grand am a few weeks ago. start by removing heater hoses at bottom of firewall then i had to remove center console, shifter, radio, heater/air controls. it took a couple of hours. the heater core was only $30.00 at auto zone.|||Are you sure you want to tackle this ??? It isnt an easy job but if you must I%26#039;ll try to explain it to you but you will have to answer a question first as its been a while for me. The most important question is Are the heater hoses in the center of the car just above the rack and pinion steering unit ??? if they are you DO NOT have to remove the dash. You just have to be able to wiggle it out. there should be 6 or 8 screws, 9/32 i believe underneath the housing just above the center of your floorboard. Now after you remove them you have to remove the cover and the heater core will be right there. Just remove the four screws and straps holding it. Sounds to easy I know....
