How do you change heater core on 99 lincoln continental?

4.6L V8 DOHC please help big job little $|||You have to access the heater core under the dash it is in the heater box.

The air cond tubes have to come out to it is a big job . Costs about $ 300.00 bucks .

The flap is controlled by a vacuum valve behind the glove box. Pull the clear vacuum line off to get

constant heat. It will probably burn you out though,

To fix, it needs a new valve that goes under the dash pad on the passenger side. Don%26#039;t remember what ford calls it. Costs about 28.00 from the dealer.

It hooks to the temp controll on the dash that you move to change temp.|||take it to a good, and I mean good, mechanic, got it?|||Go to a professional mechanic its not easy!|||take it out and put the old one in!|||Unless you know what you are doing, I would not do it myself. Take it to someone who knows how do do right :)|||remove the dash, not a job for someone who is inexpierienced, worst case scenario bypass the heater core until you can save the money to have it done by a qualified person, it is not an easy job, I have done many|||This is a big job.As a former ford tech the best advice that I can give you is to take your time and be careful. The job requires that you remove the entire dash assembly. It isn%26#039;t really hard it just takes time and patience. Good luck.
