i took off dash. but cant find any vacume lines.
Someone changed a heater core in my 92 firebird. it keeps dieing. is there vacume lines behind dash?
There are vacuum lines in the dash, but if your not getting any heat, check the cables that operate the blend air doors. They are cable operated, not vacuum. Also make sure that the heater box ( the plastic housing that has the heater core in it), and make sure it's sealed. If there's outside air getting in there, it will affect the heat in the car.

there are some vacum lines connected to the selector switch for the heat a/c control,however,your problem may be as simple as not having enough coolant in your system.
